As part of a Department of Education grant to the Latin American Studies program, I recently traveled to Lima and Cuzco, Peru to establish the foundation for a new area of PeruDigital focusing on highland Peruvian cultural heritage. I traveled with Latin American Studies director Consuelo Stebbins, Women's Studies director Maria Cristina Santana, and Holly Bouma from the College of Business to discuss collaboration with USIL (in Lima and Cuzco) on this and other projects. I'm looking forward to returning in June to continue developing the project.
